TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RUN-WAY

Effective Date: 01.05.2024

General
-
These Terms and Conditions form part of the agreement between the customer and Run-Way.
-
A booking is considered confirmed once the customer has received an order confirmation.
-
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the billing address and all contact details are correct.
-
If there are any circumstances related to the transport assignment that we should be aware of in advance, such as a lot of luggage, stops along the way, a special itinerary, etc., we request that this information be provided before departure.
-
Additional services such as extra luggage, food service, Wi-Fi, and extra stops must be explicitly booked in advance of the trip (minimum 7 days in advance) and cannot be expected to be provided unless they have been booked and confirmed in advance. These services are priced separately.
-
For trips lasting several days, the customer is obliged to arrange for overnight accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for the driver and any tour guide. If this is not arranged, the costs for this will be invoiced afterwards. This should, as far as possible, be done together with the group.

Cancellation and Delays
-
For cancellations made later than 7 days before the transport is scheduled to take place, the customer will be charged 50% of the agreed price.
-
For cancellations made later than 24 hours before the transport is scheduled to take place, the customer will be charged 100% of the agreed price.
-
For trips lasting several days, the customer will be charged 100% for cancellations made later than 48 hours before departure.
-
For delays beyond the transport provider's control, a fee of NOK 500 + VAT will be charged for each half hour started.
Traffic Safety
-
Our buses are equipped with seat belts. It is the passenger's responsibility to use the seat belt.
-
Our drivers carry out all driving in accordance with driving and rest time regulations. On longer trips, if necessary, stops may be made during the journey to comply with these conditions.

General Rules on Board the Bus
-
It is not permitted to consume alcohol on the bus unless otherwise stated in advance of the journey.
-
Passengers are obliged to consider other passengers and comply with the safety and comfort rules on board the bus.
-
Passengers are responsible for any damage they cause to the bus - windows, seats, music system, toilets, etc.
-
Smoking or the use of other drugs is prohibited on the bus. Staff may refuse to take on board passengers who are visibly under the influence of drugs.
-
Passengers who behave inappropriately or in any other way disturb other passengers or do not follow the rules may be removed if they do not comply with a request from the driver.

Luggage
-
Passengers may bring one piece of hand luggage that fits under the seat in front or in the overhead compartment.
-
In addition to hand luggage, passengers may bring one additional piece of luggage per person. Maximum dimensions and weight per item are height (A) + length (B) + depth (C) = 175 cm / 23 kg. Extra luggage must be agreed upon and clarified with the bus company in advance.
-
All luggage must be packed securely so that it does not damage other luggage. The driver may refuse to take on luggage if it is not properly packed.
-
Passengers must ensure that they take their own luggage with them when disembarking.
-
Luggage should be clearly marked with the name and telephone number.
-
The bus company unfortunately does not have the opportunity to check that passengers take the correct luggage with them, and the bus company is not liable for loss of luggage or damage caused by other passengers.
